Register your interest and we will create a group with a bespoke training programme for you. On this course you will get the opportunity to
- Visit construction sites with Hale Group
- Attend an introduction to health and safety in construction course with Coleg Gwent
- Teaching on how to get your CSCS card
- Practise interview skills with a real construction recruitment agency
- Access to professionals in the industry
- Explore job and placement options
How this works
- You talk to your Green Careers Pathway coach or placement facilitator and register your interest on Plinth
- The Newport Placement Facilitator, Claire Dent, will get in touch and ask about dates you are free to go on the site visits and attend the course
- We will then have a list of 1-day events for you to attend over the course of a few weeks
What skills or qualifications do I need?
- You do not need to have any qualifications in constructions to attend these events, this is for you to explore if working in construction is for you!
- Enthusiasm and a commitment to learn
- Agree to the Green Careers Values (which your coach can show you)
When does it start?
- We will aim to start in July, dependant on sign-ups and availability?
