Green Careers Pathway is a new project designed to connect people, employers, and partners with the opportunities created by the shift to a net-zero economy.

<h1>Job Description</h1>This role is part-funded through the Green Careers Pathway programme and Welsh Government Flexible Skills Funding, creating opportunities for young people to gain employment and build careers in the growing green sector.To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must be aged 18-30 at the time of appointment, in line with programme funding requirements. OSA works across business,education, local government, housing, sport, universities and other organisations, soyou'll get exposure to people and projects that would be difficult to experience in amore conventional role.There is plenty of scope to learn, take on more responsibility and shape the role aroundyour strengths. Support and training will be provided - we don't expect someone toarrive knowing everything.<h2>Hours and flexibility</h2>The role is three days per week at £15 per hour, with plenty of flexibility around workingdays and hours. We are more interested in finding the right person than forcing the roleinto a rigid working pattern.The position will involve a mixture of home working and attending meetings, events,schools and project locations. <h1>Volunteer Role Description</h1>Role Title: IT Recycling VolunteerResponsible to: Operations Manager/IT Supervisor<h2>Areas of Responsibility:</h2>As an IT Recycling Operative, you will assist us with our IT recycling operations. You will be expected to be professional and hard working. It is important that you are able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, particularly staff and other volunteers. A level of manual dexterity is required, as you will be expected to use tools such as screwdrivers.<h2>Duties Include:</h2>· Dismantling PCs, laptops, servers and other equipment· Removing parts and cutting wires;· Sorting and organising waste materials;· Assisting with physical data destruction;· Assisting with collections of IT equipment;· Cleaning and tidying the workshop area;· Other duties as required by your manager (Operations Manager) or any other member of staff.All roles are subject to change and you may be asked to perform duties in any other area of the business.<h2>Skills Required:</h2>· Ability to follow instructions and work in a team;· Honesty, trustworthiness and dependability;· Flexibility and willingness to try new things.We are flexible to accommodate your availability but our volunteer hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm.
