Description

Safeguarding expectations are constantly evolving - are you up to date?

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and trustees and management committee members play a vital role in creating safe, supportive environments for the people their organisations serve.

This practical online workshop will help you understand your safeguarding duties, stay up to date with current good practice, and build confidence in responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns. You'll learn about the role of a Designated Safeguarding Lead, your governance responsibilities, and where to access valuable resources and ongoing support.

Designed for trustees, management committees and village hall committees, this session will help your organisation strengthen its safeguarding approach, support compliance with the Charity Governance Code, and demonstrate a commitment to the wellbeing of beneficiaries, volunteers, staff and visitors.

Leave with practical tools, useful resources and the confidence to help keep everyone safe.
