NEL Faith and Health Forum

Following our Faith and Health webinar in June, the NEL VCFSE Collaborative is holding its first North East London Faith and Health Forum, bringing together colleagues from the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector and health and care partners from across North East London. 

We heard what you told us at our first webinar and want to build on those conversations. Whether you were a part of the first meeting, or are joining for the first time, at this first forum we will share some of the key discussion points and themes raised, including the importance of how faith literacy and spirituality can be built into routine conversations within health and care. 

The forum will provide an opportunity to: 

• Reflect on what we heard from faith, VCFSE and health and care partners at our June webinar,

• Explore the importance of faith literacy and spirituality within health and care conversations,

• Share learning and experiences around the role of faith and belief organisations in prevention, health and wellbeing,

• Strengthen connections and coordination between faith organisations, the wider VCFSE sector and health and care partners across North East London.

The forum is open to faith and belief organisations, VCFSE organisations, faith leaders, health and care colleagues and other partners interested in strengthening collaboration between faith communities and the health and care system.
