This is a free training session, delivered by Active Background Checks, available to any staff or volunteers within volunteer-involving organisations in Cheshire West. The session will provide an overview of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks process for volunteers, including:

• Can DBS checks be 'carried over' from one organisation to another?
• What level of DBS check does your volunteer need?
• When should you not ask your volunteer for a DBS check?
