You are invited to visit KLA's UK manufacturing and research & development sites to learn about the careers available.

Join us for a Behind the Scenes visit to KLA UK, part of a global company dedicated to developing and manufacturing high-tech equipment used in manufacturing of semiconductor chips around the world.

With annual revenues of over US$10billion, and around 15,000 worldwide employees (over 600 in Newport), KLA is one of the Top 5 biggest semiconductor equipment manufacturers in the world. Products made here in Newport are exported throughout North America, Asia and Europe.

The Visit will take place at both of the Newport sites: starting at Ringland Way, NP18 2TA and visiting Celtic Way, Celtic Lakes NP10 8BE. During the day, you will meet employees in a range of different jobs, finding out what they do and how their own career paths developed. You will learn about career entry points including apprenticeship and graduate opportunities, and will be given a tour of the plant.

(Not all of the tour will be accessible by wheelchair users, but we would ask you not to be put off by this as it only forms a small part of the day.)

The day will run from 10:00 – 3:00pm with lunch kindly provided by KLA.

Attendees will need to arrive at 9:30 for a prompt 10am start.

A minibus pickup from a location in Newport City Centre to the KLA sites will be organised.

Places are limited and need to be booked in advance.
