Description

Vaulting is a unique and exciting discipline that combines gymnastics and dance on horseback, offering children a fun, safe, and confidence-building way to connect with horses. Vaulting can be used as a way into riding, or to improve riding skills. In a typical vaulting lesson, children learn to move rhythmically and creatively first on a specially designed barrel and then when they have mastered that, they try on a horse.

Sessions last 90 minutes, and a typical session would consist of the following:

·     Warm up

·     Gymnastics

·     Barrel training

·     Cool down.

This series of 4 session are a great introduction to vaulting and provided free of charge.

This is an introductory course for children and young people from aged 5-16years old.
