Do you want to get more involved in river restoration in London?

In this course you will learn about river restoration techniques and their application in real-world situations through a mix of classroom and outdoor learning. We’ll cover how to plan a river restoration project and look at some case studies of completed projects in London.  

Please note, Understanding Urban Rivers provides necessary foundational knowledge for this course. You must complete Understanding Urban Rivers before you do Introduction to River Restoration.

This course is delivered as part of EMPOWER Rivers.

Times:

10:00 - 14:00: Classroom session at Blue Garage

14:00 - 16:00: Site visit and river restoration opportunity mapping

This course is free and open to anyone aged 18 and over. If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian in order to attend.
