Description

Join Linda from Camden Adult Community Learning in a 11-week project Making for Change.

Explore the power that arts has in inspiring personal and social change!

  • Explore seasonal change - use hand-dyed re-used fabrics and materials
  • Protest for change - make your textile and printed banners, posters and slogans, inspired by suffragette and trade union banners, flags and resistance art.
  • Celebrate change - make badges and medals using stiching darning and appliqué.

You will produce artwork and products for an end of year exhibition at a local gallery.

Booking guarantees you a place for the full-term project which runs 17th January - 11th April (no session 21st February as it's half-term)

This course is free with materials provided. Beginners welcome!
