This is a small group for 6 older persons to receive an hour of wonderful sound therapy. A lovely way to connect to others in the community and to do something that is beneficial for you in so many ways.
I will be singing, my voice carries healing frequencies, my beautiful instruments enhancing your experience. You are welcome to lay down on a mat or sit on a chair, or both, whatever is comfortable for you.
I would love you to join us, it is a small group so less intimidating and i think you will find me warm and friendly and the room is cost and nurturing. Come along and try something different, that will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Direct message me if you know someone who is not using the internet and that would like to book.
Some of the many benefits of sound
- Harmonic sound lulls the mind into a meditive state, moving from a BETA brainwave (conscious) into a more receptive state of ALPHA/THETA brain wave.
- Studies have shown In ALPHA / THETA brain waves you are much more receptive to the many benefits of sound -
- The Stress Hormone - reduces Cortisol
- boosts GABA - the Calm Chemical
- boosts Melatonin - the Sleep Molecule
- boosts endorphins - Natural High
- pain subdued by natutal endorphins
Sound can soothe our psyche and bath it in vibrations that shift our thoughts & feelings to new perspectives & possibilities.
I have been a sound healer for the past 10 years and I have witnessed how sound supports people in so many ways in their lives. It is a wonderful source of therapy that is so relaxing and rejuvenating.
I look forward to welcoming you.
