The Hackney Downs Neighbourhood Forum gives those who live, work or have a keen interest in the local area a say on how to improve their health and wellbeing, and help remove barriers in regard to long term health conditions, Primary Care and Community Health Services.
Hackney Downs Neighbourhood Forum Community Pain Support - Discussions Continued.
Hackney Downs Neighbourhood Forum, together with Hackney Downs PCN 'Taking Care of your Blood Pressure Together, Black Community Hypertension Event , are inviting local residents to join two small group discussions focused on living with and managing ongoing pain.
The discussions are a continuation of conversations that began during the Community Pain Support Forum held last November, where residents shared the importance of having more local support, connection, and awareness of affordable activities and services within the community.
These sessions will give residents an opportunity to talk openly about their experiences, learn more about local wellbeing and community services, and help shape a supportive resident-led network that encourages people to connect and attend activities together.
We welcome residents who may be living with back pain, fatigue, hip pain, pain linked to injuries, sickle cell, thalassemia, cancer-related pain, or other long-term pain conditions. Residents can register with the practices in Hackney Downs PCN ( Nightingale Practice, Fountayne Road Medical Centre, Clapton Surgery, Riverside Practice or Healy Practice).
