Beginner Sewing Course – 8 Weeks

This 8-week course is designed for absolute beginners and those wanting to refresh their sewing skills. Participants will learn how to confidently use a sewing machine while creating a range of practical accessories for the home and for everyday use.

The course builds skills step by step, starting with the basics and progressing to more detailed projects such as pin holders, tote bags, zippered items, cushion covers, and a larger, more complex bag.

Sessions are hands-on and supportive, with a focus on teaching sewing skills that can be used to upcycle materials, reduce waste, and continue sewing independently after the course.

We value participants’ ideas, and there will be opportunities for slight variations in projects in line with participants’ interests.

Please note: This course is designed as a continuous learning experience, with skills building from one session to the next. For this reason, all sessions are booked together for a total cost of £280. Individual sessions are not available.
