Description

Discover how reflective practice can transform your everyday experiences into powerful strengths.

This workshop, created in partnership with the Royal Literary Fund and tailored specifically for the VCSE sector, will introduce you to the art of reflective writing - an approach that brings depth, authenticity, and humanity to case studies, reports, funding bids, and even public speaking. If you’ve ever wanted to write with more confidence, clarity, and personal insight, this session offers a welcoming space to explore how your own stories can elevate your work.

Led by novelist, former journalist, and experienced Royal Literary Fund tutor Susan Elliot‑Wright, the workshop blends practical exercises with supportive discussion to help you understand the value of reflective practice and how to apply it in your day‑to‑day role. Whether you’re developing yourself, supporting others, or simply looking to strengthen your writing skills in a professional or voluntary capacity, you’ll leave with practical models, renewed confidence, and a richer sense of how to turn experience into meaningful learning.
