Visit to London
Mithraeum / Bloomberg
Space, Walbrook
Meet on the steps of Cannon Street Station
Mithras was a mysterious Roman cult about killing a bull in a cave. The Temple of Mithras attracted huge interest in 1954 when it was unearthed on a building site. For many years, the remains were based at a nearby outside location. Then in 2017 the Mithraeum opened inside Bloomberg’s new European HQ.
The visit starts with a talk and discussion outside Bloomberg Space, then at 12 we’ll go inside to view the temple remains and art exhibits.
