Do you think your child may need more support in education? Are you unsure what an EHCP is, whether your child needs one, or how to apply?
Join the MyOTAS team for our supportive 2-part EHCP workshop designed to help parents understand the process and take the next step with confidence.
Part 1 – Understanding EHCPs
📅 13th May 2026
🕢 7.30pm – 9.00pm
This first session will help parents understand:
What an EHCP is
How an EHCP can support your child
Who may benefit from one
How to request an EHC Needs Assessment
What evidence can help your application
What your options are next
After Part 1, parents often leave feeling clearer about what is right for their child. Some decide to apply independently, some feel their child is already receiving the right support, and others decide they would like more guidance before applying.
Part 2 – Supported Application Session (please book this separately)
📅 23rd June 2026
🕤 9.30am – 12.30pm
📍 Miracle House, Wickford
Part 2 is for parents who feel their child may need an EHCP but would like extra support to complete the application.
You will work alongside the MyOTAS team in a small group setting while completing your online application.
⚠️ Places for Part 2 are limited to 6 parents to ensure everyone receives individual support.
