Designed for leaders and trustees in VCSE organisations, it offers a straightforward, first-principles approach to developing and putting strategy into practice.

The emphasis will be on discussion rather than presentation, with opportunities to consider your own organisation and work out how to begin or progress its strategy journey. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of strategy and greater confidence to lead or contribute to the process.

Who is this session for?

This session is for VCSE leaders and trustees who are involved in strategy work, or who want to help their organisation develop and deliver its strategy more effectively. No specialist strategy knowledge is required.

About the facilitator

David Booth has supported organisations with strategy for more than 25 years. Before becoming a strategy adviser, he held senior management roles with United Biscuits, GrandMet and Smith & Nephew. He is a Fellow of the Strategic Planning Society (FStratPS) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
