Description

After meeting at Hebburn Library, we will catch the Metro up to Newcastle Central Station. Please ensure you have appropriate fare or a travel card with you. This walk will take us on a loop around the city centre, passing many famous and historic landmarks along the way. Points of interest along the route include: Blackfriars, Chinatown, Grey's Monument, Grey Street, Tyne Bridge, Gateshead Millennium Bridge, the Castle Keep, the Black Gate and St Nicholas' Cathedral. The walk will finish at Central Station where we will catch the Metro back to Hebburn.

Hebburn Metro station is only a 5-minute walk from the library.

There is a bus stop very close to Hebburn Central for services 26 and 27.
