Description

Are you planning a community activity and want to feel more confident when applying for funding? This workshop is taking place at the Carers Centre and is designed primarily for carers and Carers Centre groups who are developing activities to support their communities.

Join us for an interactive session that will strengthen your project planning and help you communicate the value of your work to funders. Together, we’ll break down key terms such as needs, outcomes, aims, impact, monitoring, and evaluation, and explore how these concepts connect to the important activities you’re already delivering or hoping to start. You’ll learn how to present your project clearly, confidently, and in a way that aligns with funder expectations.

To get the most out of the session, it’s helpful to come with a project idea or something you would like to seek funding for. Through practical exercises and guided discussion, you’ll leave with clear, ready-to-use responses to common funding questions.

This workshop is ideal for carers, peer groups, and anyone at the Carers Centre looking to develop stronger, fundable community activities.

Spaces are limited to 10 groups and offered on a first-come, first-served basis—so book early to secure your place. Only one booking per group is needed.
