Description

What would your team do under pressure?

Build confidence, strengthen teamwork, and discover practical ways to handle challenging situations with clarity and care.

Understanding group dynamics

Explore what group dynamics mean for you and your team, and how they influence communication, decision-making and performance. Using real-life scenarios, you'll reflect on how your organisation responds when faced with demanding clients or challenging situations.

Facing difficult conversations, together

Fear can have a powerful impact on individuals and teams, particularly during periods of change. This session provides a supportive space to explore how fear affects the workforce and identify practical ways to build confidence, resilience and positive responses to change.

Your skills toolbox, reimagined

Take stock of the experience, knowledge and skills you already have. What's working well? What needs refreshing? And what new tools could help you support yourself, your colleagues and your organisation more effectively?

By the end of the session, you will:

  • Understand what is meant by group dynamics

  • Recognise the impact of fear and change on individuals and teams

  • Learn practical approaches to managing difficult clients and situations

  • Assess your own skills toolbox and identify areas for development

  • Create a personal or team action plan for positive change

  • Recognise the value you bring and the impact you have on others

Who should attend?

Trustees, staff, volunteers and leaders at all levels who are new to their role or would like to refresh their confidence when representing themselves and their organisation in demanding situations. This session is especially suitable for those on a leadership mentoring programme.

Refreshments, training resources and support with developing a personal action plan are included.
