South Tyneside Family Hubs offer welcoming and friendly places where all children, young people, parents and carers can access support, information and help.

We are here for your whole family and will support you as your children grow, putting relationships at the heart of everything we do.

We are here to connect you to the right support, with the right person at a time that suits you.

Family Hubs provide a range of services in the local community, working with families to ensure that services meet the needs of infants, children, young people and parents and carers in the borough.

South Tyneside's Community Page is for all residents to find out what's going on and where. From arts and crafts, jobs fairs, mental health groups, training courses, children's groups, exercise classes, food support and more. South Tyneside Council offer online E-learning training which covers both adult and children safeguarding subjects, through their virtual college. Various safeguarding topics covering sexual exploitation, vulnerable groups, mental health, understanding capacity, how to manage disclosures, and ranges from Levels 1-3.
