Construction Skills Course

Are you over 16 years old and looking for experience in construction? Academi Adra’s popular course is back, where you can get training, work experience and the possibility of a work placement with pay at the end!

Requirements:

• Over 16 years old
• Unemployed or not in full-time education or training
• Live in Gwynedd or Anglesey

Step 1

Register for the course above, where you will receive a week of training that will focus on the skills needed in the workplace. The course starts on Monday, 11 May at Tŷ Gwyrddfai, Penygroes.

Step 2

You will have the opportunity to go for a week of unpaid work experience with one of our sub-contractors

Step 3

Everyone who completes the two weeks will be offered an offer to apply for a paid work placement. If you have an interview and are successful, you will be placed with one of our sub-contractors for your paid work placement (24 hours a week for 16 weeks – National Minimum Wage).
