Description

Keep your services running when things go wrong: A practical workshop for City & Hackney community organisations

What would your organisation do if the power went out tomorrow?

What if a flood, fire or heatwave meant you had to suddenly stop providing your services?

Community organisations deal with disruptions all the time, but most of us never get the time to properly plan for them.

Come along to this practical workshop to think through real-life scenarios and share ideas with other local organisations.

This friendly, practical session will help you create a plan that can help:

  • if your usual way of working is disrupted
  • with steps you can take now to be more prepared in the event of an emergency
  • your organisation continue delivering vital services to the community during disruptions
  • local organisations support each other during emergencies

Delivered in partnership by Hackney Council’s Emergency Planning Team, Hackney CVS and Volunteer Centre Hackney.

Where: Hackney CVS, The Adiaha Antigha Centre, 24–30 Dalston Lane, London E8 3AZ
