Description

Facebook remains one of the most powerful ways to reach your community - but when you’re short on time and resources, knowing what to post (and why) can feel overwhelming. This friendly, practical workshop will help you use Facebook with confidence and get better results from the effort you’re already putting in.

With a small group and tailored content, you’ll get clear, actionable guidance that fits your organisation’s needs. Before the session, we’ll send a short survey so we can shape the training around your priorities.

What we’ll cover

  • Creating engaging posts and understanding how the algorithm works
  • Choosing and using the right Facebook tools (Pages, Groups, Stories, Reels)
  • Practical examples of what works - and what doesn’t
  • Saving time with scheduling and smarter workflows
  • Using Insights, analytics and Meta Business Suite to improve results.

Delivered by experts Simon Rothstein and Lauren Soar of SRX Consultancy, this session is ideal for staff or volunteers who have responsibility for Facebook and social media as part of their role. Volunteer coordinators will find this training particularly useful.

You should have a working knowledge of Facebook – but be in a position where you need help to increase engagement, create content and use some of the platform’s more advanced features, such as scheduling and analytics.
