Description

This is a great volunteering opportunity for 16-25 year olds to learn about and contribute to the sustainability of a National Trust property. This session you will be working with garden staff and volunteers to construct pole structures to support the hops that they grow in the herb garden. This will mean working in teams to tie the structures together and install them in the gardens.

Meeting point for the activity will be at the Visitor Reception Building in the main carpark. Drinks will be provided but they will have to bring their own lunch, or go to the restaurant.

There are several volunteering days throughout 2025 focusing on a different area of sustainability within Hardwick Hall. You are able to choose which area you are most interested in, or come along to all, it is completely up to you!
