About the course

This interactive course, inspired by the Early Childhood Health Promotion Toolkit developed by Dr Jackie Musgrave (Open University) and Dr Jane Payler, explores how practitioners can support children’s health and wellbeing in meaningful and sustainable ways.

Across 10 sessions, you’ll gain core knowledge of children’s health, work with parents and communities, and design your own health promotion intervention using structured models and practical activities.

With guest speakers, group work, and reflective journaling, the course balances theory with hands-on practice.

People who complete the course will receive a Level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Health Promotion from the Open University

Taught by: Dr Lala Manners and Claire Standring.
