Chstnuts Field Wetland: Understanding your local wetland


Location: Walthamstow, Jewel Rd

Date: Wednesday 10th and Wednesday 17th September (please attend both sessions).

Thames21 are running a bespoke training event on Wednesday 10th and Wednesday 17th September. We will be looking at how to identify the vital signs of a healthy river and how SuDS connect to healthy rivers. There will be a specific focus on the Chestnuts Field Wetland project.


Trainee’s that complete this course will:

  • Have a greater understanding of what affects the health of a river beyond the visible litter pollution.
  • Understand the benefits of SuDS and how they link to healthy river systems.

Duration:

Two evening sessions of 2 hours each.

This training is free and funded via Thames21 and its partners as part of the Chestnuts Field Wetland Project.


Accreditation:

Thames21 is an nationally recognised NCFE Customised Qualification Centre but this is not an accredited course.
