Why not join us for afternoon tea and have the chance to think and talk about death.

We are running an event called Be Death Positive and take control on Thursday 19^th September from 1:30pm until 3:00pm at Big Local Jarrow. The idea of the event is to have a space were people can talk about issues around death and think about it before they have to deal with it. The aim is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'. There will be a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is meant to be discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

The session is being offered with support of a number of organisation throughout the council and voluntary and community sector. Come along and join in the conversation.
