Create 26 is a new leadership and collaboration conference for North Yorkshire’s VCSE sector, bringing together people from every corner of community life to explore fresh thinking and celebrate what’s working well.

Taking place on 21 May at The Pavilions of Harrogate, the event offers a full day of inspiring keynotes – including NCVO Chief Executive Kate Lee OBE – alongside practical workshops, panel discussions, creative networking and future‑focused sessions.

Planned with a wide range of sector partners and designed to boost confidence, connection and resilience, Create 26 will equip people with ideas, tools and inspiration to thrive in challenging times and shape a strong future together.

Workshops

When booking, attendees will be asked to select two workshops to attend during the day. The conference will feature two rounds of workshops, each offering three different styles of learning and engagement:

Round 1

• Time Travel: Create the future
• Creating fearlessness in the face of finance
• Me, Myself and I.

Round 2

• Voices at work: crafting our collective song
• Creating kindness as a superpower
• Create volunteering in a changing immigration context: what VCSE leaders need to re-think.
