The Parent & Carer Peer Support Group is an open, welcoming space for any parent or carer who is supporting a child or young person and finding that journey challenging.
Parents attend for many different reasons. This may include supporting a child with neurodiversity (including autism), mental health difficulties, SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, or other emotional challenges. There is no age limit for the child or young person being supported.
The group offers a supportive, non-judgmental environment where parents and carers can share experiences, connect with others who understand, and share tips and tricks to help support their family. You don’t need a diagnosis or referral to attend — if you are a parent or carer who feels you would benefit from peer support, the group is for you.
This session is open to all at no cost, but we would welcome a suggested donation of £3 if you are able to. All donations go towards supporting the overall operations of the charity.
