Join TimeGivers for a fun and rewarding Community Litter Pick as part of the Mayor’s Community Weekend! An energetic way for families, friends and young people to give back to their community while helping to protect the environment. As part of our wider volunteering programme for young people, which we typically offer within schools, this event helps children build confidence, compassion and leadership through real-world and hands-on experiences.

Event Details:

  • Meeting: Please meet at the bandstand at Dukes Meadows around 10:00 am for sign-in and a safety briefing
  • Start: We aim to set off promptly at 10:15 am so please arrive on time
  • After the Litter Pick: We’ll gather for lunch and refreshments (provided by TimeGivers) around the bandstand, a chance to chat and celebrate our efforts!
