Description

Accessing financial advice and support can often feel overwhelming (whether that’s not knowing where to go for help in the first place or feeling as if you are being passed from pillar to post) we want to better understand the barriers our communities face and the journey people have to go on when accessing financial advice or support.

As part of that we are holding a series of workshops across the borough to learn from people who have experience of having to access financial advice/support to explore how we can work together to improve the journey people have and create a clearer, more accessible pathway to financial support.

In the workshop we will look at:

  • What’s the journey like for people when trying to access support?
  • What are the barriers?
  • Are people aware of what support is out there? If not, where can this be promoted?
  • What is needed to make a clearer, more accessible pathway to financial support?

If you have lived experience of needing to access financial advice or if you have any suggestions on how it can improve – this workshop is perfect for you!

Together, we can make accessing financial support easier, more effective, and more inclusive.
