Responding to complaints
This free, two-hour online workshop will help you respond to complaints confidently and effectively.
The Royal Literary Fund’s professional writers run accessible writing-skills workshops to demystify tasks that many of us have to do, sharing tips, tricks and shortcuts so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
During the workshop, you will:
Explore the techniques behind an effective complaint response, from planning and structure to choosing language that explains or remedies the situation.
Discuss appropriate language and tone, maintaining respect and sympathy while remaining concise and to the point.
Through discussion, case studies and writing exercises, this engaging and positive workshop explores concise and empathetic writing in response to complaints.
