Description

Volunteers make an enormous difference to organisations and communities, but their full contribution is not always easy to measure or communicate.

Funders and stakeholders increasingly ask for clear evidence of impact. This network meeting will explore practical ways to demonstrate the value volunteers bring to your organisation, the people you support and the wider community.

We’re pleased to be hosting the meeting at The Parish Centre in Filey, bringing volunteer co-ordinators and colleagues together in a welcoming local community setting.

During the session, we’ll consider questions including:

  • What roles do you recruit volunteers into?
  • Could your organisation achieve its goals without them?
  • How can you demonstrate the difference volunteers make?
  • Where will your next generation of volunteers come from?

With the 10-Year Vision for Volunteering in mind, we’ll also explore ripple effect mapping. This practical technique can help you identify and demonstrate the wider changes created through volunteering that may be difficult to capture using more traditional methods.

There will also be time to connect with other volunteer co-ordinators, share experiences and learn from one another.
