Description

Our Summer HAF Programme offers a fun, meaningful and engaging way for children and young people to give back to their communities while building confidence, creativity and new friendships.

Programme Details:

  • Ages: 8 to 14 years old
  • Dates: Monday 17th August - Friday 21st August
  • Time: 10:00am - 2:30pm each day
  • Location: Latymer Upper School
  • Lunch included

Each day includes a mix of on-site and off-site volunteering activities, such as:

  • Collaborative Arts and Crafts activities designed to support and engage the local community
  • Visiting and spending time with residents in a local care home
  • Litter picking and outdoor clean-ups
  • Gardening activities with a local environmental charity
  • Cooking workshops and supporting local food initiatives

These sessions focus on giving back through small, thoughtful actions that can have a positive impact on the local community. Children will be supported by experienced adult volunteers and encouraged to work together in age-appropriate, engaging and rewarding ways.

Our programme is designed to help children develop confidence, teamwork and communication skills while making a real difference through creative and meaningful volunteering opportunities.

Please note: Activities may vary, but the focus will remain on community engagement, creativity and hands-on volunteering throughout the week.
