Description

Come join us in Bracknell for river improvement works! We're calling on the Bracknell community to join a series of hands-on events at The Cut. Let's work together to make a real impact on the local biodiversity by setting up big woody deflectors, creating brash berms, and removing a rock weir.

🌿 What's the Mission? 🌿

At Thames21, we are committed to enhancing the health of our local rivers and the ecosystems they support with local people. Community Action for The Cut presents a unique opportunity to improve the habitat and biodiversity in this area. Throughout these events, we will:

  1. Install Large Woody Deflectors
  2. Create Brash Berms
  3. Remove a Rock Weir

No Experience Needed!

No prior experience is required for this event. Our team will provide training, guidance, and all the necessary equipment.

Unfortunatly due to the nature of these events and the increased risk they pose, they are 18+.

We will be meeting by the Anneforde Place Play Area which is adjacent to The Cut.
