An interactive and creative award, where children have the opportunity to increase their knowledge of founding feminist, Mary Wollstonecraft (who spent much of her life in Islington), understand their own Human Rights, develop new practical and creative skills, build confidence and raise aspirations.
The Wollstonecraft Society Primary Schools Award is available to book in the 26/27 academic year on a date that is suitable for the school, and will take place at your school.

Schools can choose the Bronze or Silver Award.
Bronze Award =
2 Interactive Assemblies - one about Wollstonecraft and one about UN Convention of the Rights of a Child (with optional assembly about International Women's Day/ Human Rights Day/ National Writing Day)
Wollstonecraft Comic Book/ Work Book activity - classroom activity for KS2 which can be led by Wollstonecraft Society or a teacher.
Engages pupil with their local history, Wollstonecraft's remarkable life story and how that still relates to their lives and agency today.
Silver Award =
Includes everything in the Bronze Award (above)
Plus a whole year or whole day creative project.
