Explore the world of citizen science and help protect your local waterways! Join us for a series of activities focused on monitoring water quality and identifying pollutants on Chestnuts Field.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. This is for beginners so no need for a science background! Refreshments will be provided!
Learn the science of water testing, understand how to interpret pollutant levels, and discover how to contribute to healthier ecosystems in the newly constructed wetlands and the outputs that are flowing into the Dagenham Brook.
All necessary water sampling equipment and testing kits will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor activity.
Everyone is welcome to participate and we will be providing hot drinks and refreshments!
Meeting point: Chestnuts Field Spruce Hill Road Gate - ///frost.crowd.ground
