Improving mental health outcomes for our under-served communities. This is the second engagement event organised by Positive Mental Health, a project of Cheshire West Mental Health Alliance.
Positive Mental Health for Us is a project which aims to improve mental health outcomes for under-served communities in Cheshire West.
Eight member organisations of Cheshire West Mental Health Alliance are collaborating on the project to:
- gather lived and professional experience
- collect and publish information on each sub-population covering demographics, mental health challenges, barriers to accessing help, available provision and unmet need
- open up a conversation with mental health practitioners and commissioners about improving service provision
At this event, you will have a chance to:
- learn from lived and professional experience
- contribute your insights, questions and suggestions
- access the published resource on its launch day
The eight under-served communities included in this project are:
- Asylum seekers / refugees
- Gypsy / Traveller / Roma
- Polish Community
- LGBTQIA+
- People with autism
- People with ADHD
- People with significant sight loss
- People with significant hearing loss
