Neurodivergent Family Saturdays
Our programme runs on the last Saturday of every month and is open to all neurodivergent families. Everyone is welcome!
We listen to what works best for you and your family to help shape our day.
What to Expect
We offer a morning slot and an afternoon slot. Each session lasts around 1.5 hours. You and your child(ren) can move at your own pace and choose from a range of self-led activities and quiet spaces, including:
The Reading Room: A quiet classroom space to sit and read.
The Shop: An imaginative play space.
Free Play Area: An active space featuring our "walk the plank" and industrial pipe activities.
Continuous Projects: Fun arts and crafts including clay work, painting, building a bug hotel, making a wormery, and building a willow den (coming in October).
Want more or less of a specific activity? Please let us know—we are happy to adapt!
Sensory Information: Trains
We have regular trains passing by the venue. This can be noisy for some visitors. You are very welcome to bring your own ear defenders, or you can ask our team to supply a pair for you.
How to Find and Access Us
The Main Gates: There is a buzzer at the main gates (located on the post). Press it to speak to the concierge at the Author Building, who will let you in.
Tip: Try the pedestrian door first, as it may already be open from previous attendees.
