Global Generation

Global Generation is an educational charity, which works together with local children and young people, businesses, residents and families in Camden, Islington and Southwark to create healthy, integrated and environmentally responsible communities. Our work connects people of all ages to nature in the middle of the city. 

Are you interested in working with natural materials, developing building, landscaping and wildlife friendly horticulture skills on a live site?&nbsp; We are building three structures &amp; an amazing new habitat garden on our permanent site in the Kings Cross Development. Each structure champions a different natural, traditional craft and explores the value of regenerative design.&nbsp;Our gardens demonstrate ecologically beneficial ways of working with nature. With all our garden projects, like the Paper Garden, we always involve the community in the build - and this site is no different.&nbsp;Come join us at the #TriangleSite for an evening of learning new skills and practicing sustainable ways of building and growing. The new Story Garden

Join us for an evening on the water getting to know and taking care of the herbs and plants growing on board our Floating Garden barge. These sessions run monthly as a space to share knowledge and stories as we plant, propagate and harvest together. All tools and equipment are provided as well as refreshments. Please note, this session is aimed at adults. Children and young people under 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
