Future Youth Worker Programme!
Do you have young people aged 16+ who currently access your provision and are keen to step up and take on a peer support or leadership role within your organisation and would benefit from outside guided learning in a Level 1 Introduction to Youth Work Programme?
Details:
- 6 sessions x 3 hours (face to face delivery).
- Participants will complete a unit workbook and portfolio as part of the programme.
- Participants will be offered financial support to attend training sessions which will be awarded on successful completion of the programme.
- Participants will need to be supported by a placement organisation who can support and encourage application of learning.
- Teaching days will be Monday 16th, Wednesday 18th, and Friday 20th February 2026, which will be mandatory attendance.
- Study days will take place on Tuesday 17th February and Thursday 19th February 2026.
- A deposit of £25 will be taken, which will be refunded upon completion of the course.
Here's what participants can look forward to:
- Skill Development: Participants will complete a unit workbook and build a portfolio that will showcase their learning and growth throughout the program.
- Financial Support: We’re committed to supporting our participants. That’s why we’re offering financial support to help with expenses. We’ll also refund deposit upon completion of the qualification.
- Placement Support: Participants will need to be backed by an organisation that can help them apply their new skills in real-world settings, providing encouragement and practical experience.
- Daily Sessions: Teaching sessions will run from 10 am to 5 pm each day, ensuring that participants receive comprehensive training.
- Celebration of Success: The journey will conclude with a special celebration on Friday 1st November, to mark the achievements of our participants.
