Reducing waste - barriers and opportunities discussion

Description

We are starting a new project with the University of Nottingham aimed at engaging more people with our activities around reducing waste, including the library of things, repair cafe, refills, clothes swap, and community fridge. We want to understand what puts people off taking part in these activities and what we might be able to do to attract them. In this initial session we're looking for Sustainable Wantage volunteers and interested local residents to help choose which activities to focus on and consider ways to explore these.

This session will include a short presentation with more details on how the project will run, followed by discussions about what we want to achieve through the project. With drinks and snacks provided to fuel the conversation!

(This session is running twice: Sat 12th July 4-6pm and Thurs 17th July 7-9pm, you are welcome to come along to either)
