Christmas Cookery & Crafts Workshop for Children

Monday 22nd December | 10:00am – 3:00pm | Hornsea Town Hall

Looking for something exciting, creative, and Christmassy to keep the kids engaged in the run-up to Christmas?


Our Christmas Cookery & Crafts Workshop is a full day of festive fun, specially designed to inspire creativity, build kitchen confidence, and bring a little seasonal magic to the school holidays.


What’s Included:

  • Festive baking activities – decorate delicious cupcakes and design your own gingerbread treats
  • Creative craft projects – make Christmas cards, tree decorations, small gifts, and your own wrapping paper
  • Fun hands-on activities – including pompom crafting, pebble painting, and more
  • Educational lunchtime provision – children will enjoy a healthy, balanced meal and learn about food and nutrition in a relaxed, friendly setting (Tomato and/or Cheese Pasta, Garlic Bread, Banana or Orange, Cookie and Fruit Juice).


Additional Information:

  • For children aged 6 and over
  • Delivered by experienced, DBS-checked professionals
  • Held at Hornsea Town Hall – a warm, welcoming venue in the heart of the community
  • Funded places are available for children eligible for Free School Meals (FSM). Places are limited and booking is essential.
  • Children who require 121 support contact us in advance for us to make arrangements, please email us at: haf@eastriding.gov.uk, parents/carers can attend to support child but must contact us in advance if 121 is required
