Dollis Brook Balsam Bash

Bring the Dollis Brook back to life!

Join us this summer in removing invasive non-native species (INNS) and litter from the Dollis Brook, supporting the recovery of native plants and boosting biodiversity along the riverbank.

Where to meet:

• Outside 21 Longland Drive, N20 8HH https://maps.app.goo.gl/CZkUYcHK8W3oSubv6 (about 100m down from Totteridge Lane - look for light blue Thames 21 van)

• Nearest tube: Totteridge and Whetstone

We’ll meet here, as it’s easier and free to park. Once everyone has arrived, we’ll walk upstream to the site.

What to Bring:

Dress for the weather and the task – long trousers and sleeves are advisable as there are nettles and brambles.

Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids.

Sun cream and a hat.

We will bring tea/coffee and biscuits.

We will provide all other equipment (including waders/wellies) needed for the event and we look forward to welcoming you!

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please make sure you have weather appropriate clothing for the day.

Please note: A reasonable level of physical fitness is required due to the nature of the event. While nothing too strenuous, the event will include physical activity outdoors, plus walking.
