After meeting at Hebburn Library, we will take the Metro to Gateshead. Please bring appropriate fare or a travel card. From Gateshead metro station, we will walk down to the Glasshouse via the old town hall then pick up the River Tyne Trail. The path will take us through East Gateshead, Felling Shore, Bill Quay Farm and Hebburn Riverside Park. This is a long walk and includes a significant amount of ascent. However, the views along the river are superb and well worth the effort.
