Action Youth Boxing Intervention Provision is a holistic, sport-led education and mentoring programme designed to re-engage young people aged 16–25 who have disengaged from mainstream education or are at risk of becoming NEET.

We are an Ascentis-approved supplementary education and training provider, delivering Functional Skills in English and Maths alongside our England Boxing–accredited boxing training and mentoring provision. Our programme runs Monday to Friday, 12:00pm–3:00pm, providing a structured yet supportive environment that promotes discipline, confidence, and positive decision-making through boxing.

As a supplementary education provider, we welcome referrals from a range of partners including the local authorities, and criminal justice services, particularly for young people who have left school with no qualifications and/or are known to the criminal justice system. Our provision aims to prevent individuals from falling between the cracks by offering consistent, constructive engagement through weekly education, training, and mentoring.

Participants are supported to achieve their core Maths and English qualifications while also undertaking employability and work-readiness training, including CV writing, interview techniques, and preparation for employment or further training. The programme is further strengthened by 1-to-1 motivational mentoring, tailored to individual needs, helping young people develop resilience, focus, and clear progression pathways into employment, education, or training.
