Youth Summit

The Youth Summit is an opportunity for young people from across Bolsover District to come together and see how their voices are driving real change.

During the first 6 months of Youth Action, hundreds of young people have shared their views, experiences and ideas through research. At the Summit, we will close the feedback loop by sharing what we heard, what young people told us matters most, and how these findings have shaped the new Youth Action Plan.

The event will be co-designed and delivered by the Youth Forum, who have been supported to analyse the findings, identify priorities and develop recommendations for action. They will present the key insights, share the Action Plan, and invite attendees to help shape the next phase of the programme. The Summit will be a interactive day, with workshops, activities and discussions that allow young people to test, challenge and further develop the Action Plan. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, influence priorities, and help ensure the actions taken genuinely reflect the needs and aspirations of young people across the district.

We are asking schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups to support young people to attend, particularly those who have contributed to the research. This is an opportunity for them to see how their participation has influenced decisions, hear directly from other young people, and explore ways to stay involved in creating positive change across Bolsover.
