This is an informal information event to find out more about what cycle touring is and what our beginners cycle tour will look like. It is a chance for you to ask all questions cycle touring and hear some inspirational stories from other people that have taken part in our previous tours.

Introduction to cycle touring- Information event 

A gentle ride from Women on Wheels to Glasgow Green. Suitable for families. The route will be mainly on cycle paths and through the park. Small stop for hot drinks and cakes and play in the park for those with children. Cake provided but please bring a hot drink/flask if you have one.&nbsp;

Women on Wheels (SCIO) is a Glasgow based community cycling hub for women, girls and non-binary people. A service designed and led by women, we deliver a range of cycling activities to get women, girls and non-binary people back on a bike or onto a bike for the very first time. 

Our mission is to empower and enable women, girls and non-binary people to overcome their barriers to take up cycling - for transport, to improve their physical and mental health, and most importantly, for the pure joy of it!
