We're excited to launch our new Kids Learn to Cycle Lessons! These sessions are specially designed for&nbsp;girls and non-binary children aged 5 -12&nbsp;who want to learn to ride a bike or build their confidence cycling. Just like our supportive adult lessons, these classes are friendly, patient, and totally judgement-free. Our experienced instructors will guide them step-by-step in a safe, encouraging environment. This is an informal information event to find out more about what cycle touring is and what our beginners cycle tour will look like. It is a chance for you to ask all questions cycle touring and hear some inspirational stories from other people that have taken part in our previous tours.

Cycle Touring Event- Planning, Packing and Camping

Join us for a fun filled cycle around the Isle of Cumbrae (Millport). Families welcome. Different lengths available (Lap of the island- 10 miles, or Fintry Bay (6 miles). Borrow bikes from us or bring your own. We have child seats and trailers available. Bikes will be transported in a van but transport will be via Train and Ferry! Transport, bike hire and ride leaders included in price. If you are booking for children please book a slot per child. Please contact us if you would like to borrow bikes or equipment for the session. We will be in touch about transporting bikes closer to the date but our rough plan is to get the train from Glasgow Central at 9.45am

Join us for a day of mountain biking (MTB) at LifeCycle in Balfron. Suitable for women who have never been MTB or improvers but you must be able to ride a bike competently. The session will include coaching, chance to practice skills and a ride through the beautiful trails. Bikes &amp; helmets provided.&nbsp; 1-hour travel each way, 4 hours of MTB-ing and 30 mins for lunch. Transport is not included but we will set up a WhatsApp group the week before the session to organise lift shares so we can take as little cars as possible. ﻿Please wear clothes you are happy to get dirty and clothing suitable for the weather (Waterproofs, warm layers, gloves).
