Description

This walk will take us through Carr-Ellison Park before heading south to join the popular Bowes Railway Path. The path will take us out into open country before we turn right into the Pelaw Quarry Nature Reserve. Here we'll enjoy wandering the paths through the woods and by the lake, keeping an eye out for wildlife along the way. Part of the track also rises enough to give some excellent views to the south on a clear day. After leaving the park, we'll turn north to head back up to the library, as always, sticking to green spaces and quiet streets where possible.
